Dimension® 2EW specialty herbicide provides control of crabgrass and other annual grasses and broadleaf weeds in established lawns, commercial sod farms, ornamental and sports turf.
Both Prodiamine and Dimension (Dithiopyr) are pre-emergent herbicides, but in general Dimension is more expensive and doesn't last as long. Dimension is also more water-soluble, which can result in leaching out quicker during spring applications. However, Dimension would be the preferred pre-emergent if starting late closer to the time of crabgrass emergence.
May be applied with single or split application.
