For preemergence control of grass and broadleaf weeds in established turfgrasses (excluding golf course putting greens), lawns and sod nurseries.
Prodiamine 65WDG may be applied as a single application or in sequential applications to control weeds germinating throughout the year as long as the total amount applied is not greater than the maximum application rate per calendar year for the turf species. All applications should be made before target weeds germinate. Prodiamine 65WDG will not control weeds that have already emerged. However, if you do not plan on overseeding a third application in the fall can be made. To reduce the potential to injure overseeded turf, wait 60 days after seeding or until after the second mowing, whichever is longer, before applying Prodiamine 65WDG.
Length of crabgrass control can last up to 8 months depending on region and amount of product applied.
